The route is mainly dirt with asphalt stretches and a road section in the municipality of Oggiono. There are panoramic views to admire the nature of the lake landscape. There are also refreshment points such as the Donzeno farmhouse in the municipality of Annone, located next to the cycle/pedestrian path and where it is possible to taste typical Brianza specialities.

Along the route you will also encounter Lombardy farmsteads, spinning mills, small lakes and streams, offering an immersive experience in nature.

The Ciclovia dei Laghi route is a cycle route of about 160 kilometres through Lombardy, touching several lakes between the provinces of Varese, Como and Lecco. The route is suitable for experienced cyclists since some parts of the route are on highways.
